to make it a competitive sport would be to seperate it from the actual sport of parkour. one of the main principles of the discipline is that it always remain uncompetitive, and it expresses directly that in any scenario where there is a competitive aspect to parkour; it no longer is parkour; and does not bear that name or affiliation.
