so sad. how old, stella? was she a smoker?
She is in her 70's. No, she wasn't a smoker. I'm thankful for that also because as we were all around her bed for several hours she wasn't coughing so she seemed pretty relaxed and peaceful. She's on some pretty good drugs and sometimes her eyes were closed but they said she was more alert than she has been in days (there were a bunch of us over there).
We had the dogs there and One of them and I were in bed a lot of the time w/her and she would put her hand in her fur. At one point path at dog got down and I put the other one up there and she put her hand in her fur and whispered "Thank you." She loves dogs.
I talked to her daughters today and she will probably die today.
