he has pancreatic cancer, right? so what does it matter if he smokes? it's like bitching at a guy with lung cancer for drinking or a guy with diabetes for eating a shitload of egg yolks. unrelated conditions.

I did a little reading on pan cancer a while back and apparently it's a huge risk factor for getting that kind of cancer. No idea why, though. Kinda makes me wanna kick my 5 cig a day habit

But anyway, it's beside the point. He has weeks to live from what I've heard. So he might as well smoke his lungs out. FWIW, I heard he has been a three

pack a day smoker for most of his life.

Wow. I read that they caught it very early. If it's true and he has weeks to live, yeah, I'd be smoking, drinking, and probably painkiller'd out of my head for the ride out. Leave with a smile!

LOL. I never knew he was a smoker before this. I've never been a fan of his work (I mean, Dirty Dancing? Come on

). But fact is, he's a fellow human and is dying a really painful death, so I feel bad for him and his family. Nobody deserves a death like that. Not even that sick POS "pumphard"

I smoked a pack a day, luckily I broke the habit.Its true though, once you have smoked before you are always just one cigarette away from restarting up, its like riding a bike, once you learned you never forget.

Yeah I hear ya. I've quit for up to 8 months at a time but once you smoke just ONE, it's back into it. Now I'm to the point I can smoke just 5 cigs a day. Still bad for the health any way you look at it, but I can breathe more easily than if I smoked what I used to
