-better literacy
-an independent media
-a better, more efficient judiciary
-independence from foreign oil (nuclear power)
-the French are happier, live longer and they're not fat.

And France does all this while having a lower GDP than the US... that's efficiency.

I do think about it all the time, I even wrote a new business plan for it, but the more I look into it the more I realize how good I have it here and even though they doubled my rent my overhead is still much much lower than if I had my own place plus they haven't raised my rent in 5 years until now. I have two offices here, one for me and an office where I employ a chiropractor and message therapist and I now pay $1200.00 for both spaces including full use of the gym for of course personal training.
