no break in between excersises. U will have to drop the weight SIGNIFICANTLY
that's the problem with giant sets. you use little resistance. would you use a weight so light on bench that you can get 40 reps? no? then why would you do 4 sets of 10 in direct sequence?
additionally, how do you decide when to use more weight? when you can do all your exercises without missing a rep? well then, which exercise gets the boost in weight? and how much? what happens if you add weight to the first exercise and you lose reps after that, do you lower it again?
just go with straight sets. progress is easier to both gauge and make.
