but will light weight for medium/ high reps add size to one´s shoulder? or its just more to 'define' what you already have?

sorry, but i have to admit the same guys that use horrible form and bigger weights are usually the ones with the bigger shoulders...

All those guys look narrow,  they are all traps and front delts.

I start with 10lb, then go to 20lbs, then 30lbs, then 35s or 40s.  I will then drop set down to the 5s.  I bend my elbows slightly to take press off my elbows.  On the final few reps of the heaviest set I will cheat alittle but I consider it to be light a forced rep.  I had no idea that heavy laterals could cause a tear, maybe I'll rethink the cheating.

Maybe they just want to cheat the weight up so they can concentrate on the negative.

No, I don't do that.  Been away from lat raises for awhile.
