Bertil Fox threw the shit out of 90 pound db's for lateral raises on his video and his delts were huge.
I start with 10lb, then go to 20lbs, then 30lbs, then 35s or 40s. I will then drop set down to the 5s. I bend my elbows slightly to take press off my elbows. On the final few reps of the heaviest set I will cheat alittle but I consider it to be light a forced rep. I had no idea that heavy laterals could cause a tear, maybe I'll rethink the cheating.
