McCain has seen the worst of conditions as a POW for FIVE YEARS.  None, of us can imagine that.  That scars a person more than any monetary debt or loan.  It builds character on a grand scale IMO.
The tried and true McCain POW Card.  ::) Has nothing to do with him being worth $100 mill, wearing $500 shoes, owning over 7 homes, and being out of touch with the average American.

"Plus, when Obama realizes he can't pay for all his grandiose program by taxing the "rich", guess who gets sodomized next..........the little guys"
Bullshit. America prospered under Clinton and Obama seeks to restore fiscal sanity by bringing the tax load on wealthy Americans back to where it was under Clinton. Or would you like to see Bush's incredible fiscal irresponsibility continued until the deficit is over $1 trillion? I thought repubes were for fiscal responsibility and balanced budgets?  ::)

This quote is very true and troubling.  I see Obama going outside just higher taxation of incomes 250K & over.

Why? Clinton did not have to? Obama will cut taxes for the middle class. 95% of the population. McCain says he may backtrack on his promise not to raise taxes, yet you believe him?  ::) The repubes have a LONG history of fiscal irresponsibility.

The socialist way is to increase a variety of taxes.  He needs to address spending...and I see him contributing to the problem.  We need an approach like Ron Paul where the gov needs to spend less as its first priority.
Ron Paul has some ridiculously radical ideas like abolishing the IRS. How will taxes be collected?  ::) He also wants to abolish the Dept. of Education. Brilliant idea.  ::) The one thing he is right about is that we should have never gone into Iraq. Obama agrees, and that is one way he will lower spending. Saving $10 billion a month from the Iraq debacle will go a long way to curb spending as you suggest.

The increased power granted to the top 1% has causes greater than income tax.  Closing corporate loopholes and freebees would adress this issue much better than increasing income tax.  Families making 250,000 per year are NOT ultrawealthy!
Obama does have a plan to close loopholes and deal with corporate malfeasance. For one thing he will stop giving tax breaks to corporations the necessarily ship jobs overseas.
Families making over $250K may not me "ultrawealthy", but that is close to four times the national average. If you don't like being taxed your fair share as someone making that kind of money, either suck it up, take a pay cut, or reduce your standard of living! Someone has to pay for Social Security and Medicare, or do you want the elderly out on the street and begging?
