The paper claims music industry types, particularly an unnamed producer, "began talking to [Jackson] about their beliefs and how they thought they had become better people after they converted."

Jackson allegedly took instantly to the faith, culminating in the recent conversion ceremony at a private mansion in L.A., where Jackson sat on the floor and wore a "tiny hat."

"An Imam [Islamic leader] was summoned from the mosque and Michael went through the shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of belief," the source said.
