teenage bodybuilding- WHY?!

seriously, what makes a normal, hormone filled teenager want to enter a bodybuilding competition ?

-Vanity?
-thinking that chicks may dig them? (which I could understand cuz most boys don't know what women "really" want until the hit their 20's)
-exhibitionism?
-faggortry?
-"daddy issues"?
the point is when i was 16 I was jacking it so much had a popeye-esque left forearm.  The last thing on my mind was oiling up for a bunch of schmoes teen bodybuilding judges

this isn't a anti bodybuilding thread- I'm just wondering what is the obvious psychosis that makes a young man want do this.

Not really. This forum is faster becoming an anti-BBing forum, with the fad being to call every fan a schmoe and the countless threads and comments on how gay BBing is. No wonder it's the joke of BBing forums.

i see this happening too...  ... one thing that gets me is guys who post here every day or just about everyday.... making threads that say "havent been training for a few month and im gonna try t start liftgn soon "..     an why are you on a bodybuilding forum if you don even lift weights ?    ... and then we have some guys who say they hate all bodybuilders and bodybuildign and they think its for gays and losers .... yet these guys still come to a bodybuildign board    ......
