Dude war is evil. American soldiers did some evil acts in WWII. The bombing of Dresden was at the hands of the US military. We dropped bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. I see your point but at the same time I don't think for a second a majority of soldiers would kill innocent people without question. Yes it happens and there are some shitty, morally bankrupt soldiers...........just look at Abu Graib. But to say the US military indiscriminately bombs towns and villages is unfair.
No, I'm not saying the entire military is like that. And believe me, I had to listen to looooong documentaries to reach conclusion. What I am saying is that given the cirsumstances every American soldier should be given the choice to drop their guns if asked to do things that are against our constitution without any fear of reprisal. Of course you're never going to hear your superior tell you "kills all those innocent human beings right over there using all these artillery shells", they will most likely use more succinct or evasive language that will get the same result: You will be doing the killing.
And every time they go on their little corporate wars these military types need to STOP using the "we're doing it for our country" bullshit. No you're not. You're a tool. Wanna know what the patriotic thing to do would be? To treat others (in other countries of course... except New
Jeisy) like you'd like to be treated.
