I got a kick out of the multi-million dollar birthday party he threw himself a few months ago. The sad thing is that none of the other African leaders will denounce the guy because he was a "hero" 25+ years ago. Nevermind the fact that he destroyed a country that was once among the most advanced in Africa.

That was exactly what Debussey was hinting to. You can't give resources to the poor class and expect them to produce like the upper class.

Exactly. A lot of people have a hard time wrapping their heads around it. They want to live like the upper class but don't want to put anywhere near the amount of work needed into it. That applies to people of all races, also.

I would never personally use the term "darkies" (or any other derogatory racial term)... I cannot feel the wrath of Mugabe's racism in my country of birth and then commit racism myself?

Just know that Zimbabwe is an emotional topic for me. Mugabe took my parents land away and didn't give them a penny for it. In addition, Mugabe's thugs killed dozens of our farm workers and many farming friends that I grew up with.... mostly death by machete.

Yet, he remains in power and enjoy's million dollar birthday parties?

WTF..Im sorry to hear that. I havent looked into it myself and im not discounting any of what youre saying. But from what i know about some of the Appointed or Coup leaders inAfrica... they say its about giving africa back to its people...but its mre about taking money from whites and putting it in 1 mans pocket and they screw off all people, blacks and whites. I agree. its not right. And they are pretty brutal about it

Taking the means of production from the wealthy and giving it to the poor must be the stupidest idea ever. The poor and uneducated won't have the skills to utilize the means of production, and total production for the country falls drastically which has severe negative implications for the entire economy. If you have an egomanicat putting a lot of the stuff in his own pocket on top, then you fuck the entire country.

Coming from Zimbabwe myself born and bred left the country in 2001... after interaction with some friends here in Western world most assumed it was giving land back to the people .. but it was the process by which this was done that brought the whole country to its knees.. there was no repsect to the Law.

The concept itself had merit cause they were some farms that were not being used ... but just for holiday purposes

The people that got the land were not qualified to get it .. most of them were getting it just for greed ....

Things are looking a little better now that the Zim $ is out of circulation ... there are items in the stores ... unfortunately though there is still poverty beyond belief ...

Probably the only option left... since negotiations with Morgan Tsvangari went nowhere.

Problem is the local population are starving and don't have the resources/finances to organize such a coup. Millions of Zimbabweans have crossed into South Africa hoping to survive .....and the crime in South Africa has risen dramatically.

For the record, Big Mal, black people in Africa suffer far more than the local whites under these tyrant leaders. 2000 white farmers have reportedly died under Mugabe .... but many hundreds of thousands of blacks have been killed under him.

This is why I don't feel sorry for any of the African countries and many of the problems they have. I also hated it when the NAACP gave what's his fuck from U2 a NAACP Image Award for his work in in Africa. Convincing Western nationas to wip their debt and having more aide giving to African nations. No, it 's time that Afrca starts being the man that learns how to fish so that he can eat forever, not the man that keeps on getting fish giving to him...
