This should also be a prime example of what can happen when the poor uneducated majority (or a moron on top) tries to eliminate the upper class, those who actually drives the wheels of the economy. Eliminate them, and you have removed a strong pillar in the economy, one that the poor underclass can not fill, even if they take over the resources.

That hyper-inflation wasn't anywhere near the level it is now in Zimbabwe.

That's not true at all.  People like Melvin Anthony or Dr jake who both post here will tell you that.  In fact, your question offends me.

What I don't like is corrupt political leaders in Africa who help destroy a healthy economy and starve and massacre their own people.... and then beg the West for financial help (which they never give to their people anyway).  The fact that these leaders are indiginous "blacks" is merely coincidental.

Offhand, I think Uganda is doing ok. Not a fan of the one-party democracy, tho. That woman in in West Africa seems to be doing a good job turning it around. Need to get rid of all the Big Men and their tribalism/cronyism. That would be great. These countries have only been independent since -what was the first one?- Ghana in '58 (I think). Some tho, are basket cases and some need the leadership eradicated. 'Course I think Bush Jr. should have been eradiacted, too.
