damn man I've been reading some of your post's your lucky they don't do more thorough psychiatric evaluation's to enter the military.you'd be fucked.

I disagree there.

HH6 is the EXACT mentality and personality I want as the military defending the USA.

You want a badass, kill-em-all kinda guy taking out our nation's enemies.  If I had to be stuck in the trenches with any 2 getbiggers, it'd be HH6 and 333386.

Thats called...who gives a flying fuck. Maybe u missed Pearl Harbor or what they did in China.

I'm not saying we're right or wrong.

I'm just proving that we can be just as, if not more, savage than the worst.

I call that making a tough decision, invade the Japense homeland and face the real possibility of millions dead, or drop the a-bomb and see if they get the message. The island hopping campaign was already very costly in lives, at Okinawa alone the Japanese fought to the death. 110,000 Japanese dead, and 50,000 US dead and wounded. What exactly do you think was going to happen if the main Islands were invaded. We had already faced the same type of fanatacism from the Nazi's before Berlin fell. Where you get the idea that war is civilized is beyond me, the object is to destroy the enamies will to fight.

I didn't say war was civilized. You did.

I am merely saying that when it comes to savagery we can hang with the worst and best of them.

can you eloquently explain how it was illegal?

didn't think so

so easy to parrot the rubbish you hear in the media

Firstly since it was US and Britain that invaded I think the onus is on them to proove why it is legal...not on people who disagree to show how it is illegal. Besides in the British case is was clearly illegal...Blair got up in the house of commons and lied in public about saddam having weapons of mass distruction that could destroy our country within 45 minutes....then suprise suprise the Biological weapons expert David Kelly that we sent to iraq calls the claim a bunch of bull, and turns up dead in the middle of a forrest three days later...

not only that Britain knew there would only be legality to invade if we pursued a second UNSR resolution authorising an invasion in the event that Saddam did not back down...the second resolution never happened and we went in anyway.

So without international authority we invaded another country...please explain to me HOW this would be legal

btw why the hell would the Iraqis be greatful? 650,000 people dead some say up to one million, and Iran scrabbling around in their backyard, more than 2million refugees, the christian population almost completely erased....all their oil being signed off to foreign investors...yes they have lots to thank us for.

First of all it is your opinion that anyone lied about WMD, seems to me they pulled what 300 metric tons of yellow cake uranium out of Iraq. They didn't have any nuclear facilities, what exactly was Saddam going to do with this? And as far a biological agents, from the military personel that I have heard from they had all the ingredients, some mixed, they just didn't have a delivery system. No delivery system and it can't be classified as a WMD.

And on top of that the 91' Gulf War did not end in a surrender, it ended in a cease fire. Iraq continually broke the terms of the cease fire, so legally hostilities could have re-commenced at any time.

The UN is a corrupt POS and was proven when all these "higher ups" were found to be being bribed by Saddam with oil. If you expect me to rely on an organization that can't even police itself, to give authorization for anything your nuts.

I don't care if they are grateful, Saddam brought this upon the people of Iraq, he's dead now along with his offspring. Time for the populace to sink or swim. I hope they can swim.

I have to say that HH6's opinion of those enemies that are chosen for him well in advance is really admirable. I say this because at least he is being honest. He doesn't hide it behind any democracy-building scheme that so many liberals like to reason for our obviously colonial ambitions. He just comes out and says what he believes, sometimes, well most of the time IMO, in the wrong ways.

Having said all this, why don't we ask for the American media to show us all the pain and suffering our "brightest" and "finest" are causing around the world so that they can spare us the deer-in-the-headlights look events like 9/11 bring to our faces?

Just a toaught...

How is it my opinion that my prime minister sold me a war by saying saddam could destroy my country in 45 minutes notice, then the most you can come up with is yellow cake...and even then the whole scooter libby affair kinda negated that.

My prime minister lied...and then admitted there were no weapons of mass distruction found...dont try and defend that by saying it is my opinion...saddam clearly did not have the capacity to destroy britain within a 45minutes of him giving the order. Not even the most ardent defender of the war can back up that kind of bullshit

Scooter Libby didn't negate anything, he was "convicted" of lying to a grand jury not leaking Valerie Plame. And how does Scooter Libby being convicted of lying negate the fact that they pulled 300 metric tons of yellow cake out of Iraq, it was there. Maybe he didn't have the capacity to destroy Britian in 45 minutes, but he sure as hell had the capicty to ratchet up his WMD program at a moments notice all he needed was a delivery system.

Now lets get back to legality of the war. The cease fire was broke over and over again - war is legal
