So you've got some leftover wine (I know, unheard of ) or let's say you just didn't like it Rather than throwing it away, "Martha" suggests freezing it in ice cube trays and then putting the cubes in a ziploc. You then use the cubes in cooking. Sounds like a good idea, right? The only problem is that WINE DOESN'T FREEZE so you end up with these slushy cubes that after a day in the ziploc become a big ball of slush Make sure the baggie is "upright" so you don't end up with red slushy drips all over the freezer
But why freeze it, won't go bad that fast anyway.
gently heat it in a water bath....will get rid of the alkie in it..it should freeze then
