LOL @ frail!!  I was a really skinny kid, but was super athletic, so it didn't matter.  That's why I'm so comfortable around bodybuilders...I'm cozy in my own skinny little skin. 

Growing up, though, the black kids all teased me about being smart, because it wasn't 'cool' to know how to read and whatnot. 

And in 6th grade, I got into a fight almost every single day (only lost once)...didn't matter how big you were, I knew how to handle my business, having grown up in the 'hood.

At the grocery store today, semi-cute little blonde throws some eyes my way at the seafood counter.  Naturally, I blow her off.

After completing my shopping, I re-think it and decide she's just a few cycles away from having fuck buddy potential. I locate her, ask her name, and tell her she should definitely drop me a line sometime.

She half engages, tells me she's flattered, but then adds that she's not interested right now. I disengage and depart.

why would you approach a woman in a super market, it just reaks of desperation.  Not knocking you, just isn't that place to go and pick people up like that.  She was probably taken aback by such a straight comon in the middle of the milk and egg isle.

People 101. Focus on the person you are talking to and never tell them "they should give you a call". If you had taken the time to be a good listener, she would have told you how she wanted to be picked up, indirectly. This girl thought you were a douche, because you made the conversation about you. Actually, she let you down easy. Infact, if she gave a shit about you at all, she would have at least let you down with a comment that made you feel like you were somewhat important.
