Joe Scarborough reported on Dec 21, 2009 that Rahm would be fired in early 2010.  Hilary's been pushing for it forever.  Obama wanted Daschel all along - and now that the lobbyist angle isn't on the front burner, Obama can move in anyone he wants.

Rahm's role has been minimized more and more, and much of what the GOp is doing (the part of NO) is in response to Rahm's abrasiveness.

of course, that won't stop all the Palin worshippers from giving her credit for it.  She's playing smart politics, but Rahm was out soon anyway.
