Yes it was. Even the fact that all of the Mr. Olympia winners are still alive is pretty interesting. I know it's just anecdotal, but surely it would dispel some of the myths that steroids are death drugs.
Old school pre slin/gh guys I'd say are in comparison with heavy smokers/drinkers. There not gonna be dieing in their 40s, but they will experience adverse health effects such as a weakened heart, artery issues, high risk of heart disease. Even arnie had a heart problem, you can say it wasnt from bbing all you want, but at the end of the day those are the type of health issues youd expect. Granted their not gonna drop like flies, just like my 76 year old grandfather is living with fuck up liver/stomach.
However thats the old school guys, the current gh/slin guys are gonna be facing a load of problem. Destroyed joints, enlarged organs, metabolism/hormone issues etc. You guys have a poor understanding of health issues. I mean sure these guys aren't gonna be facing brain cancer or bs like that. But organ failiure, mobility issues, and pulmenary issues with plague these guys.
