I'm just curious, like most of you I've always been an Arnold fan and yes he's very busy these days BUT:

This might possibly be Joe's final Olympia and it was very cool to see all the Mr. Olympia winners on stage together and yes Arnold left a video message to the fans BUT if he owes a great deal or cites his success somewhat to Joe, why not show?

Yes, he promotes his own awesome show each year and shows up and yes shows up to the Olympia once in a while but I was slightly put off from this.

Also, I heard from a good source that he was in actuality at a Kiss concert that night. No proof but was told from a reliable source.

The guy is the governor of California, married into the Kennedy clan and a huge Hollywood star with 20+ movies under his belt and the admiration of billions worldwide, geez you figure the guy might be a little busy!?! oh yeah he also has 3 kids.

yea, Arnolds showed up other years to present trophies here and there when others haven't. I think he does his bit when possible

I heard he was slated to come, but some very important things came up, like the California Budget.

I don't think he would of wanted to miss this, especially for Joe Weider, who means so much to him.

In any event, it was cool to see the past Mr. Olympians out there.

arnold is a piece of shit........and even if you dont think that low of him, understand this , HE COULD GIVE LESS OF A SHIT ABOUT BODYBUILDING

he doesnt promote the arnold classic, nor does he organize the arnold classic..............he leases his name to jim lorimer, and in return receives millions of dollars
thats it............he just lends his name, for tons of cash (oh, and he makes an appearance to hand out the trophy and get a standing ovation)

he didnt even have the respect to appear at what was almost cettainly joe weiders last olympia..........he has a FLEET of private jets and helicopters, it would have been a 20 minute jet ride
and dont give me that "hes the govenor shit"........politicians dont do shit on saturday nights

if arnold wanted to he could single-handedly quintuple the olympia prize money........and you kow what the joke is, he is so wealthy, he wouldnt even notice it on his bottom line at the end of the year.........actually bigger joke, it would be a tax writoff

Arnold had this dream to be famous. Well, he achieved that in spades but at what price? He doesn't have any time for the old gang from Golds. Those days are long gone. There he is playing the fool in politics and having the paparazzi watching his every move. Not at all an enviable lifestyle. Arnold had a sexual appetite to rival Tiger Woods.
