Jay won even in back double biceps.
Very hard to call. I would say Jay won in muscularity and presentation, but Ronnie was still overall superior. I have watched the video of the show, and Ronnie, even off, was so superior in aesthetics, balance and structure that he clearly won in my opinion. Ronnie is just plain genetically superior to Jay when it comes to bodybuilding.
I believe that it's fair to say that Jay trying to beat Ronnie on lines, symmetry, balance and condiitioning doesen't work. Ronnie is just so superior at a lighter weight that there is no competition. The only way Jay could beat Ronnie would be going for size. I believe that Jay's 2006 version would beat a smaller Ronnie. Jay was huge at 278 lbs and very dry. I can see a very dry Jay at 280 lbs overwhelming a 247 lbs Ronnie, even though Ronnie would still be far superior when it comes to a bodybuilder look.
My point is that huge Jay is not as inferior to Ronnie as little Jay is. Jay was right in trying to match Ronnie for size. Trying to be a more balanced, drier and symmetrical version of himself wouldn't work against Ronnie because Ronnie is so superior at all these categories.
