i have never driven the 1, but when i bought mine (a 3) the person who sold me the car said he much preferred the 1 to it. smaller, more agile etc.

just couldn't see myself driving a car so small though.

1 series M, that has a 10 sec better 'Ring time than the E46 m3, that had roughly the same amount of hp

I thought so too, but they want to focus on handling...remember the E30 M3 wasn't all about power, but about handling, apparently, that was M Division goal, directive (and Marketing's as well) to recapture that...

I've only seen parts of it, I like Tanner, dude is insane and a better driver than Jeremy Clarkson, but not as word-smithy as him, i liked the Viper piece...

the sad thing is this bloated bitch weights 300-400lbs MORE then an E30. The new 3-series has been slipping lately. The new CTS can out handle it.
