he says to get lean so that you end up with a quality physique, not that it's the ONLY way to grow.

Well fellas, I am gonna give God's theory a go. I will get very lean 1st, at least sub-7 and maybe even sub-6, and then once I'm there I will make an attempt to make lean gains, adding muscle while not adding fat. I will do this as a natural, so I suppose that many of you won't be interesting in seeing my results, or lack thereof. But, for those who are interested, you will be able to see 1st hand what happens, as I will be posting photo documentation of the process. Phase 1, the get lean phase starts today, and I will be posting beginning ab shots here within the next few hours, so it is GAME TIME ;D I had decided to do this Phase Project last week, and since it goes directly with what God is saying I thought that maybe you fellas would be interested.

omg another idiotic post from gh15.

get lean to grow eh?

err, whatever dude. its scientific FACT that muscles grow when there is an abundance of nutrients- fat included. thats why strong guys are large, and many over weight.

that isnt a coincidence.

you should preach your ideas to the world strongest man contestants.

its also fact that hypertrophy- i.e. enlargement of cells is due more to load than any other variable. Its true that it does occur also due to volume, but that response is pretty much restricted to the drug users as its a far less direct adaptation for the body to go through.

OMFG...NO!!! you have no understanding of this. you're thinking eta eat eat, calories calories caloires...

do you uynderstand what happens when you are down deeP in the single digits? do you know what happens when glycogen load gets thrown into a competitor post comp and for about the next 5 weeks after that of constant feed?

do you know how insulin and glycogen storage works when down deep inthe single digits?

the growth gh15 is talking about DOES NOT happen during the process of loosing bodyfat and getting down in the low singles, it happens muthafukn AFTER!!

understand insuklin (not injections, the actual hormone and how it works in the human body)
understand the word.....REBOUND!

take a competitor competing 230lb at 6% in one show...throw that same competitor into another show 1 or 2 weeks later following SPECIFIC PROTOCOL and will be 240lbs SAME BF%!

god.

go to the gym.

apply enough stimulus to cause growth.

no need to over think this.

maybe when your pro level caliber you have to worry about things like this, but for the average gym rat just go and lift weights.
