A diet rich in protein actually makes you smaller, since it takes 6 calories to metabolize a gram of protein, which contains 4 calories. You would eventually die of starvation if you only ate protein, as you would be on a negative caloric net value.

Tbombz is the biggest troll in the history of Getbig. Nothing this guy says on any topic has any value whatsoever. It is amazing. What to expect from a guy who allowed another man to insert his penis inside his anus?

Like your garbage on quantum mechanics, where you state that matter is completely incomprehensible by any standard and criteria. Funny that we have the laws of physics and laws of chemistry that result in the same reaction every time, and yet you claim otherwise. Funny that physics, chemistry, physiology, etc, haven't gotten your memo. You are only mildly good at obfuscating things with nonsensical verbiage, and you are not even very good at that. Now go take it up the ass. I know you like it. ;D ;)

Just read your statement on protein requirements SMM, and you are correct. I'm taking in approximately 40 grams of protein on a near daily basis, as I am on a rapid fat-loss "diet" and I've lost 8 pounds just this past week and dropped 2 or maybe 3% of bodyfat over this one week period. Anyways, protein requirements are way over-stated. Me thinks that this protein hang-up comes from fear, and from those trying to make a quick buck.

It might be, but I know for sure that 80 grams is enough for me. My main goal now is to drop fat rapidly, even at the expense of losing a bit of muscle. And I'm not so worried about any lost muscle, coz I've discovered that any muscle that is lost from a rapid fat loss diet comes back very quickly once normal caloric intake is resumed. I'm trying something relatively new, which is a cycle diet similar to what Lyle McDonald recomends, so we'll see how it works out.
