kids loved by their fathers wouldnt say what you re saying about having kids, simply because they would have been happier individuals once adults. They would have been conditionned to want to reproduce what their father did with them. If you see things the way you see them it's because your own father sees them that way without the shadow of a doubt, and he willingly or not taught you to see them the same way.
It is particularly interesting to notice that his influence defends the same kind of ideology that charlie sheen is currently defending and even promoting.
Basically you enjoy sheen's ideology because your father has the same.

A loving, caring, father would say the oposite to his son. What you think now is just the sum of the conditionnings you ve been exposed to.
My brother feels the opposite on having kids, but we have the same dad.  Figure that one.
In general terms, your lines make sense, in reality...no.

it only means your father loved him more than you. That's why he has no problem reproducing it, and you do not want to reproduce it.

You should read about attachment theories and some psychogenealogy books. Everything you do or think now is conditionned by your past. Wether it's conscious or not.

There are stories of fathers prefering one of their sons (when they have two) just to reproduce what happened to them in the past when their own father prefered their brother to them . Most of these patterns are subconscious.
