I can totally empathize with this situation, but I don't condone it. They are weak and helpless for the most part. Don't hit women. There are other ways of punishing someone if you really feel the need.

DId you know by "restraining her", you can have charges filed against you for "assaulting" her?
 Or even a restraining order issued against you.
Many times domestic abuse tends to start by women mimicking the pattern that they saw their mother or parents display...and typically finding a man who is a abuser. Men who are abusers tend to either be the mousey "good guy" or the big "bruiser", many thimes they can't control themselves or express their feelings or express themselves, period. They tend to start of small, with controlling what she wears, who she sees, etc. The first hit is usually due to a "look what you made me do" type of deal.

What most here are not talking about is domestic violence per se (well, it can be if she hit the guy, which happens a lot). But women who try to play both sides of the fence, that they can hit you without any reprecussions...and that they can get away with it, thus them doing it over and over again. Also, this enables the "princess" mentality that many women have....

As far as restraint is concerned; I've had a woman around me on and off for years, who, when she gets drunk turns into a monster. She picks things up and throws them. Large objects. She may pick up an object and try to maim you with it. She knows not what she is doing. She is at the point of alcoholic "black out" --so rather than say "restrain" maybe I should have said "protect"

She would scar you up, the whole time knowing you could beat her down and knock her out.


I'm just curious what part of my post was so misunderstood or what makes you guys disagree. We are talking "fire water" to an American Indian. She remembers nothing the next day. You may be covered with bruises and scratches. It has nothing to do with what you did, It is demons from her past manifesting themselves when she feels "un-inhibited" from excess alcohol.

Not disagreeing with you. But, many domestic violence issues happen when one or both parties is a drinker or a alcoholic. I don't know how a man can be in a relationship with a alcoholic woman. As it puts one in danger of being hurt, having to restrain her or loss of job due to catching a case. I've seen all of those happen. And if the man is the alcoholic it's worse. People---both parties always say, it's always when they drink---then your ass needs to stop drinking, right?
I've seen dudes scarred up due to taking his woman's keys away, officers getting into trouble due to having a alcoholic wife. Men being stabbed by their alcoholic women or getting into fights at the bar due to their alcoholic woman starting shit...
