how come i saw philsuline in real life in april 2011 and his arms were smaller than ronnie comeman and dennis wolf the same day?

off cycle? or does he only look big on camera?

he wasn't that big at all next to all those other olympians walking around there

joel stubbs blew my mind as he walked by in a sleeveless tight shirt

like 9 feet tall and 7 feet wide

lol

I've never seen the guy but i've always assumed that's what i'd think of him too lol... too bad about the legs his upper body is fuckin monstrous

Man, you would steal the seminar show, if you asked him this.
I mean, who gives a shit about his "arm training secrets"?  ;D

LOL

well i admit i don't really have "the eye" to assess pro physiques but here's a pic of him that day next to me (under 16" arm for referrence) and one to dennis wolf

dennis wolf arm struck me as shocking and baffling whereas philsulin as a whole was sort of disappointing, i really thought he was wayway bigger. again, off cycle? this is not to put him down obviously, a great bodybuilder i will say any day

here is dennis, too bad he didnt flex in the pic but his arm was really montrous

and even coleman who retired still blew away phil in my opinion. as he sat there signing pics like a robot his arms were just so much more impressive than i imagined. really too bad i didnt get a chance to see him at his biggest and most ripped stage  :-\

i uploaded these different pics so u guys see what i'm talking about. phil just looked so much softer/smaller/less full than the dennis and coleman for some reason

anyway, still a great physique

Interesting - Wolf is a winner because he has a big structure filled out with meat... looks brutal
Thanks for reassuring that P. Queeth, the aladin of inslulin, is mostly hot air.

I had the same thoughts when I met Jay, last year. He blew me away with his arms, chest and delt thickness, but frame wise he wasn't that impressive to me. Phil is prob even worse; much thickness on his arms & delts, but very poor foundation.
I've never met Wolf and Ronnie, but I'm sure both of them are a totally different story.

you just answered your own question. This was discussed before, and chances are high he was off cycle. If you have seen the vid of Phil and Ronnie at a seminar, Ronnie dwarfed Phil back then. Also, Phil's arms are not that huge, it's the detail, volume and triceps that make them look huge...This of course has been discussed ad naseum.

When he's dieted down his arms don't appear so massive , Ronnie's did

Yep, Phil's are highly detailed...Ronnie's was freaky with the double peak and huge...
Phil's triceps give the illusion of volume. Especially his side heads.

Phil's are huge off-season and still big when he's dieted down , but Ronnie's arms are insane but he outweighed Phil by a great margin as well but at the same weight I think Ronnie's are still bigger

I'm going to hit the gym right now and do this same routine  ;D

Trust me, 95 % of the board is going to do the same.

And then come back on GB later and claim Phil is all insulin because their pipes didn't grow an inch   :D

Yeah, I admit it. When I was younger it was traps and chest...more so traps---to the point that I had severe sloped shoulders. Looking like a damn arrow ("Hey look! It's Black Arrow!")

For Me it's the whole body to have near enough no lacking bodyparts
Lotta guy work and work and work on arms
No chest or back legs  delts or abs and only look decent in a sleeveless top when that top comes off that's when arms take a back seat.... No matter how  great your arms are if you don't have a six pack and pecs ...
You will look weird whereas a gut with smaller arms can pull it off if he has a good chest and six pack
I always laugh when I see these older guys at my gym pregnant  in a alertness top pumping arms 4 times a and you probably can't see your feet when you look down... But you never see them doing abs .... I think arms are overrated if you do t have the rest of the physique to go along with it
choice is an illusion
