If you truly believe that someone that looks like Jay should even be in bodybuilding then you are a lost cause. You ask a thousand people who looks more impressive between Jay and Wolf and everybody wod say Wolf.

It was between Wolf and Victor for the 3 place imo. No way should Kai place so high this year, he looked almost the same as last year - soft and big! Wolf was the hardest of them all, and Victor had some crazy flow and density to his muscle this year. Best Ive seen from both of them in a while. I can only hope both of them is placing higher next year. Its good to see they are both in the mix again though, especially Martinez...

Wolf is lacking a LOT when it comes to the criteria and it's why he's not fighting for the title , if we believed your version of the story , it sounds like he's a lock for multiple Mr Olymia titles and he doesn't come close , why?

wolfs lats only take up 1/4 of his torso, his arms have shitty shape, no peak to the bicep and no roundness to the tricep (though they are huge arms), he has good sweep to his quads but he doesnt have any defintionor striationg down by his knees at the insertion points, ffrom the back his hams look thin...    he just cant place ahead of guys like victor phil and kai when they are on point, much better aesthetics.

his abs have gotten out ofcontrol lately but other than that he has much better aesthetics than wolf, a whole lot thicker and rounder everywhere and in eey pose except the crap most muscular .. and thats just cuz dennis is the only pro who seems to know how to hit that shot correctly these days..

Wolf wasnt close to being as dry or lean as he was in Columbus. He was bigger, but not better. I think he faded at the prejudging and Vic passed him. Victor ALWAYS gets harder and drier the more he poses.

Maybe Vic got harder and drier but more than Wolf?

Quoting yourself doesn't prove your point.  When do peaked biceps win competitions?  When exactly do striated quads win Olympias?  They don't and neither does "aesthetics".  Your knowledge of professional bodybuilding is like everything else, lacking substance.

kai is "aesthetic"

in this context, the word "aesthetic" means beautiful.

kai is a midget who looks like he's had four vertebrae removed.  he has the ugliest face in bodybuilding at present.*  his waist is the size of a planet.  his arms are very oddly shaped.  i think tbombz is right about wolf having badly shaped (though large) arms, but kai's are just as bad.  Phil has pleasing if suspiciously large arms.  Ronnie had awesome looking arms.  Kevin and shawn had beautiful arms.  Kai's biceps are very short and look like a slime ball that has gained sentience and is trying to escape.  His quads, while absolutely enormous and striated, are the definition of ugly:



they look almost square from the front, short vastus intermedius / rectus femoris, and monstrous sartorious, and even his medialis looks like some poorly squeezed dollop of toothpaste in this shot.

also, kai's traps appear puny from behind.

phil has "aesthetic" muscles, bones, skin, etc.  same as victor, brandon curry, lionel beyeke, etc.

Aestethics, structure, proportion, symmetry and shape is not as valued as conditioned separated size is.

Aestethics, graininess and muscle maturity must be the most inflated and undefined expressions in all of BB.

Personally I really dont think kai is aestethic. Neither phil or jay. Neither freeman, samuel, rockel, hide, branch etc. The 2010s isnt an aestethic decade (yet) IMO.

I'd say Dexter, Wolf and Victor may be the more aestethic and better structured bbers in top layer of the mr o line up. I like that their proportions do not render them short and stumpy first and foremost.

Errr no. He has no taper and is blocky as hell. I can understand why someone like you would like that build though.

Wolf definitely has the best structure and from the pics, it looks like he got robbed. Should have placed ahead of Vic, Kai and Jay. As mcuh as I think Phil is overrated, he won soundly. But Wolf could and should have been second. Overall, it was a very mediocre Olympia.
