Apparently it seems they have money to burn.

If they're gonna eat like rock stars, they are gonna pay like rock stars.

No food should cost $100 per meal. That's just rather ludicrous and profoundly stupid throwing $100 for every meal several times a day.
I know what you mean but Rock stars drop thousands on 1 sitting. Most bodybuilders are cheap but we are talking the top 10 paid bodybuilders here, they don't look at the price tag.

I just saw a video with kai green when he was coming back from a show and had a trophy with him...he sat down at IHOP and proceeded to  show the receipt a 98$ bill for one meal!!  he didnt stop eating...I always wished I could eat like that...the fact is they spend alot of $$ to eat!!

That's right after a show, he's been dieting for 12-16 weeks of course he's goona eat everything in sight!!! LOL but they don't spend normally $100 per meal trust me. Smoke and mirrors boys, smoke and mirrors.

If you have seen pumping Iron They all go out to eat at that restaurant and they alll are ordering like three things off the menu! I know food was way cheaper back then pus the place didn't look like some high dollar joint. But still Pros BB'sa spend a shitload of money! Hell when I was real into bodybuilding I spent a shiload of money! especialy if I added in supplements. the article where Jay cuttler said he spent 50K made me feel better but like claymore said it is probably not true or maybe he just spent that much that year. I beieve it was 2005-2006.I will look for the article. I think it was in flex. Hell 600$ a week on just sushi is 2,400$ plus all his other food. he coud easily have broken 50K

This is my last post about this subject, just went to eat after training with 4 people all which are people who most people would know. One is way over 300lbs, the other one is 265, the third guy is somewhere between 200-210lbs. Are total bill was $93.98....here's the breakdown.

New York strip steak
Chicken parmesan
Salmon
Large pizza
Small pizza
Salads and sides for everyone (4 people)
Drinks for everyone

Hate to burst your guys bubble, but they don't spend $100 per plate.

Michael Phelps eats 10,000 calories a day and spends enormous amounts of money on food! He eats alot of carbs especialy pastas and a medium pizza an sandwiches they showed it all on the news what all the food looks like together! So it is no ie michael phelps just a swimmer spends 200$ a day! not everyday but when he is training hours a day he eats more than a bodybuilder. Jay spends 600$ a week on sushi. thats like 100$ a day just on sushi. Jay aso might pay for his girls food so Jay spends all his winnings on food!

I think he could easily spend 50 grand on food, considering he eats out a lot, his groceries which would include his wife's food and his dogs, you know Jay's spoils the shit out of them.

Maybe at place that he's never been to before. He(jay) just posted a pic on FB of him at a restaurant in vegas, and they have a fuckin table reserved for him and only him. He clearly doesn't pay at this place. He makes probably the most real $(not from consignment) out of the other pro's, so him spending a lot on food, isn't really a lot to him. Must be nice lol

Phelps is the olympic medal king!!! He doesn't pay for a meal period... Jay cutler hasn't sniffed prime time television period, not even a fair comparison... I like you and cutler, but putting him in league with phelps is ignorant... Think cutler would pass Olympic drug testing??? No sir, sorry...

I am just making a point michale phelps eats more then more bodybuilders and if he did have to pay for the food, it would cost a shitload. How do you know michael phelps does  not have to pay for any of his food? I bet alot of it is payed for by sponsores or payed for with his winnings. It just blew me away that he ate more then a most bodybuilders.

$100 dollars on a single plate of food ?? Where are they eating there meals at "Ruth's Chris" lol. Sorry guys but I use to train with Dex and I know Jay very well and they ain't dropping $100 a meal lol not unless there picking up everyone's tab and trust me when I say Dexter ain't picking up no ones tab !!!! He'll try to get someone else to pick up the tab !! LOL Anyway even if they were eating at outback three times a day, that's not $100 for three meals. The only person I know who spends more than $100 day on food who is a pro is Stan Efferding and the reason I know that is because he is my training partner. P.S. There's no pro out there who eats more food a day than Stan !!!!! I promise, he's a human garbage disposal.

Care to elaborate on Stan's eating? Maybe start a thread in the G&O section even. Always cool to hear these stories first hand.
