Just because its legal doesn't mean you HAVE todo it, that's my whole point these people don't do it because they feel a legit threat and want to defend themselves they do it because they want to play the victim and mind you every "open carry look what the cops did" video is filmed in an area that is nice and save.

I was cruising thru south east DC on a tuesday afternoon and I saw one too many N!99A$ with guns tucking behind their back and I know for sure they're illegal........I had to take the next exit and get out of the city......lol......word of advice: "Don't drive in south east without your piece"

Doesn't seem so smart.  Makes you the first obvious target if someone is going to start shooting and even a piss poor fighter could take it off your hip if you're surprised.  Also makes you a target for police in tense situations, of interest to the police in calm situations, and reduces the amount of time police will spend scanning the room for bad guys since they need to focus on the guy with the pistol.

If you're worried about kids getting to your guns, buy a good gun safe and use it......except for your home defense weapon of choice.
