I do stiff legged dead lifts on leg day (Monday), should I do regular dead lifts on back day (Wednesday)?
First of all, you should know the difference of these two exercise:
Stiff legged deadlifts
And deadlift
Then you have to learn to do them right. Then you don't have no problems doing them. You can do deadlifts in your weekly routine, but it doesn't make any sense to go to max week by week, so you do something like this:
Every week start with the warm up by doing 20 reps with low weight. In my own training deadlifts are the last exercise after training my back.
week 1 two sets reps 15, 12
week 2 two sets reps 10, 8
week 3 three sets reps 6, 4
and week four 5 sets, reps 12, 8 , 6, 3, and one rep max.
By giving you amount of reps I mean that you have to choose weight, which you can't do more reps than that.
