shut your fucking mouth you MAGGOT

So you are ok with people whom never served are lying and getting close to $4,000.00 a month tax free while somebody that served and lost limbs or worse, gets shoddy treatment from the local VA hospital? To me that money that was stolen should go to making sure the true warriors are taken care of.

But then again, your are from the UK so you probably don't give a shit.

I think in past wars including WWII these issues were buried under the carpet. I just don't buy the fact that psychologically the veterans of today are that much different than they were 50 years ago - I just think they've learned to complain more.

When that Libya attacked happened and that Navy Seal got killed the media was all over it.  They did features about navy SEALs, how amazing and elite they are and what a tragedy it was.  The same about this new guy being killed at a gun range.  But what they don't tell you is how the US military and government shits on them once they leave.

In San Diego there is a tent city near downtown where a lot of veterans go for shelter and free food after being forgotten by the government.  One guy in particular was a Navy SEAL.  He has PTSD and barely sleeps at night.  He goes there for somewhere to sleep at night.

The media goes on and on about what amazing heroes they are yet you have people like the one mentioned about that no one gives a fuck about.

This shit makes me sick.

next time you see that guy give him some oatmeal it helps you sleep at night

everything changes with time, i remember when i first joined you got a slap if you screwed up. you took it and that was that. If you did that now you will be court martialed. I saw lots of "battle field discipline" as we called it. I do not think itīs complaining because they know the effects it has on young men and women and they covered it up for years. In the first world war the young men were shell shocked and there are old medical films to document this so..they knew about it. If they complained as you put it, they were classed as having "a lack of moral fibre".. what a load of bollocks. The world today is more and more hostile, British Army Regiments are being cut again thanks to that fucking Moron Cameron.. so now the guys will bounce back and forward on tours more often than before...it breaks up Family life and Marriages too. If these young people get sent into action for their land then they should be looked after.. lets not get caught up in a BS discussion about who had it harder WW2 or Vietnam or now..every conflict is diffrent. Ask a WW1 vet(not many still alive) and he will tell a WW2 vet , we had it rougher.
