How is Shawn Ray narrow ??? I looked all over and he looks wide in all angles, found one pic where he does a most muscular that arguably is a narrow pose for him but not really.

Look, here are the ones mentioned in this thread in FLS, a pose that shows width in the torso and where arms can't detract from a weak chest and torso.

Having a big head makes the shoulders look more narrow. That's partially why Coleman looks so wide (apart from being huge), but his head wasn't as big which helps the illusion.

agreed, and this just further backs up my theory about narrow shoulders and big arms

mike was known for his big arms as was larry scott, another narrow shouldered fella

maybe something like when narrow shouldered fellas do heavy compound moves the arms take the brunt of the work instead of the torso

it's just a hypothesis on my part, and i ain't saying that it's true or that it's so

??? Just because he stands next to a both bigger and taller guy does not mean he is built in a narrow way. He's smaller in most ways. He's a small guy.

But his proportions are not narrow, he has a small waist, wide shoulders and a taper. Not "the narrowest of all time". The narrowest of all time looks narrow standing alone, ie Heath.
