First, you have to find a decent job, which is highly unlikely.

Second, you have to plan on living there for a while, otherwise, you can't sell your cheap ass property.

Third, you have to deal with hardcore crime.

Fourth, Windsor, Ontario, Canada is just across the river, low home prices, free health care, and no spooks or hardcore crime.

He's right. It's a plan that has been talked about quite a bit in Detroit for the past couple of years... It is that desperate of a situation. Many entire neighborhoods are vacant, boarded up and burned out houses and buildings.

There are no tax payers left in the city. Anyone who did work or owned property fled the city in the past decade. The city failed to provide basic services. The only tax payers left are retirees from the auto companies. For years the city lied on their census because any city with a population over one million gets huge tax benefits and a federal grant. When it was finally investigated they found the figure to be less then 800,000....They were actually using the names of dead people to boost their numbers.

All of the elected offcicals are corrupt. The previous Mayor and all of the city council were among the highest paid in the country. All had their own cadre of bodyguards. Many had family, friends and babies mamas on the city payroll. While the city fell further and further into debt they spent money like it was going out of style.  Everytime election year rolled around the always sang the same old bullshit tune about "the community" and "keeping it in the city"...a bunch of bullshit, black, libtard rhetoric and the voters were always shamed into voting the same assholes in year after year even when it was apparent they were robbing the city blind.

why isnt this on the news, you should make a youtube channel of this bra

They are probably blaming it on the white devil no doubt. And Obama is now seen as a White man of African decent. I often hear them say Obama is just a White man in disguise

It's pretty much dead.  The problem is what to do with the people and the property.

The American Empire continues its steady decline. It had a good run though.

A very very short run.

The problem with reality in Detroit is this: after the 67 riots and after 'white flight', many of the homes turned into rental properties and the owners became absentee landlords. The homes were sseverly run down over the years and sold off to slum lords. Overtime the properties became so dilapidated That they were abandoned. Most became crack houses.....raided multiple times by police...others were burned down by whoever could claim the insurance.

sure there is 100,000 vacant houses but there hasnt been an ounce of upkeep to any of them.in 40  years and what was left of any value was stripped....water heaters, copper, brass, fixtures anything... so you can buy a home or lot  for 5                     .  Or 10 grand but you'd have to doze it, remove the waste, then start from scratch...in a city that has no industry and no tax base and about    500,000 felons.

This^^^ This is the product of a culture of poverty, the american version of a Brazilian favela and as a black man I have to admit, the population in Detroit has got to do better, honestly I think they should send the army and basically hit the reset button.
