They really don't. Go back and reread that philosophy thread you posted in with him last time. He got riled up very quickly once his thin veneer of indifference was poked too hard. He very much takes it personally once it goes outside the safe arena of training or dieting. His opinion of himself as a deep thinker and intellectual with a special purchase on physical transformations is jealously guarded, and I have seen him resort to name-calling often here. More pertinently, he's an attention-seeker. And such people are always burdened by inferiority complexes that can easily spill over into aggression when challenged too consistently on the issues.
