It's interesting thing how easily people can be manipulated. It all was described in various marketing studies and perfectly applies to the whole world through mass media.

For example.
There are dozens of civilians being killed everyday in Ukraine by neo-nazis. There is lot more gruesome content in that war on daily basis than in all ISIS beheadings combined. Yet noone cares.
There was devastating landslide in Afghanistan at last spring. Like 2000 people were killed and more than 10000 were affected by. The next day it is forgotten, wiped off from the news by avalanche of new propaganda. It wasn't even most discussed story on the day of accident.

But once largest news media have started to post beheading videos once a week, here you are, jumping around, cursing muslims and ready to justify any aggression against any middle east country. The finger has been pointed. Go!
The most interesting part is that there is no need to get everyone's attention, the small, but loud percent is enough to start a revolution or to start bombings. And it works on international level. At highest point of media control you don't even need people backing. When each newspaper and news site posts the same message, it's like all world is in attention and agreeing with it.

What country was he taken from?  I keep hearing about all these folks kidnapped in Syria... I don't understand why they are there.  

"To help people" = You can help people in Sydney, in Akron, in Moscow, in Paris, and you'll be very safe from beheadings.  

"To get a good new story" = Suicidal at times. Why do it?  Would you walk into a drug gang meeting with a tape recorder and expect to live?  No.  Why do it here?  A story?  Really?

Syria = one of the biggest anti-american shit hole in earth, and new people are kidnapped and killed every day.  Why do these americans keep entering the place and living there?  Makes no sense.  You can do just as much good, help people, in places where you live longer, and help more people with your life.  You KNOW we're boming their country, you KNOW it's a civil war, you KNOW the govt kills protesters, you KNOW that 99.9% of the country's people hate you...

I don't think cameron is as soft as people here think he is just reluctant after the lies that strung up blair and bush. See how he gradually gets more and more support for killing people with bombs. Add to the fact that 75% of companies on the LSE are now owned by Arabs. There is huge investment from Arabs in the Uk, specifically London, it is a playground for the middle east, the Shard was funded by Arabs.
