Schavelzon said he doesn't believe Nazis ever inhabited the hideout since it was never needed. Thousands of Nazis were welcomed in Argentina after the war by former president Juan Perón, who led the nation from 1946 to 1955 and for a short while again in the 1970s.
Whats this guys story, and why was he a Nazi sympathizer?
Yup, this is true. Adolph Eichman , Dr Josef Mendelson and other Nazi's fled to those areas and a few were hunted down and tried.
This recent discover is more evidence that top government leaders in Argentina were helpful to Nazi's.
The skull of Hitler was never actually recovered. For decades it was assumed that the USSR recovered and kept it after Hitler shot himself in his Berlin bunker. New evidence indicates the USSR recovered skull may not have been Hitler. It's possible that Hitler may have fled to Argentina right after WWII and hid out in a secret, jungle location. Obviously, Hitler would have died many years ago. BUT, there is a long shot chance he escaped and lived in Argentina ( or nearby region) for a few years after WWII.
