Thanks for sharing that post on your real life experience.
The real issue is that most seniors in these situations have some sort of dementia or alzheimers, etc.
They don't have the ability to make any logical decisions on how to live any longer.
Medical science can keep us alive now, long after the mind stops working properly.
In my experience, once your mind is gone...you're gone.
Actually you arent, you re still there, suffering the most at the time you re the weakest. There s a reason why i called it hell on earth. I remember a nurse saying how the patients were "just bodies".
Also lol at being labeled as demented/rebelling when you complain about the fact your family abandonned you... which it actually did.
Ending there is actually a kind of cynical punishment.
Oh also, most of the workers there are frustrated rejects who werent able to have a better job in healthcare.
If mankind was genuinely moral, euthanasia/assisted suicide would already have been generalized in most so called advanced countries, but it is forbidden because if people were able to decide when to kill themselves it would prevent many companies from making a shitload of money producing drugs and managing "living deads" for years in so called institutions.
It s just another business, probably one of the cruelest one with the pets management system and cattle management system.
