Do blacks hate the idea of evolution because they fail to see their connection to Apes?

Not racist of course since evolution claims that man came from Apes- sorry mods, no racist baiting here.

I believe this post has a bingo-factor

The reason people can be scientists and believe in evolution but also believe in God is because they segment and compartmentalize their thinking. They think rationally about their jobs and science but in the area of metaphysical things all logic goes out the window. Trying to believe in Evolution AND Christianity requires mental gymnastics. They aren't compatible. Unless you dismiss a large part of the bible you can not also support evolution.

Evolution and Spirituality are compatible.

I listen to a lot of conservative radio ( I also watch Maddow and sometimes lawence odonnell most nights)

Liberals and atheists are often painted as the same by these hosts.  "These liberal atheists!" over and over.

After a while, many conservatives tend to just connect the two.  Every democrat is a godless anti-God atheist that loves abortion and is on welfare.

good thread. keep it up guys. and when youre done with this, why not make another thread where you explain consciousness.

Because liberal atheist is more plausible and believable than liberal Christian.

The Hebronical drive to censor perceived symbols of retrograde attitudes such as the Confederate flag is quite ironic given their own (generally) backwards stances towards evolution (viz., widespread denial) and homosexuality (viz., widespread intolerance), among other things. Veritably, they are an interest group promoting their own lot exclusively rather than acting sociotropically for the good of all.

wouldn't you mean "liberal conservative"?

We're talking opposites, right?   Liberal and conservative are opposites.  If you're saying liberal and Christian are opposites, then you've just proven my theory about Rush brainwashing people into believing that, to be correct.

I love to argue with you - But this unwillingness to debate points - and to revert to name calling and general assumptions - I miss the old coach that'd debate.

So painfully obvious in their vociferous opposition to 'ALL Lives Matter.'

You're arguing is exhausting. You argue just to hear your head roar. The only thing you've been right on is Obama winning......and its been an eight year disaster, like I predicted.

I laugh in the face of religion, and the fools who subscribe to it. Weak minded simpletons, who have allowed their minds to be infected with a virus.
