He said so many incorrect things at the start of the video I could no longer watch. He claims only humans are capable of rational thought, is he retarded? has he never seen monkey's? dolphins? crows? this is what happens when you step outside your profession into realms of science you have no clue about.

He claims that parts of things don't have function, another moronic de bunked argument, aka Behe's irreducible complexity. For example the eye is so complex, how would half an eye work? it can't right? this guy really did his research, got ya atheists.

He is surgeon, who cares what he thinks about evolution, he doesn't seem to understand it, likely willingly.

Well, this video pretty much solidified my decision to not vote for Carson.  I know he's a smart guy, and I know his IQ is much higher than mine; but when he's talking in the video, he sounds like the dumbest mother fucker on earth.   :-\

BTW Ladies and Gentlemen,

Meet Dr. Francis Collins world-renowned geneticist, physician, and Former Director of the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institutes of Health.

He was an athiest and became a theist.

Do blacks hate the idea of evolution because they fail to see their connection to Apes?

Not racist of course since evolution claims that man came from Apes- sorry mods, no racist baiting here.

Oh my god, it must be true!

he also believes in evolution and claims it's an indisputable fact, so you should get your people straight first.

I know, he's like " well if that's true (his own made up event), why do we still have monkeys?". I suggest he read a grade 10 text book on biology.

Evolution doesn't say we came from apes. We share a common ancestry with apes.

That is a world of difference!!

See my post above. We still have monkeys because man didn't evolve from an ape. Evolution NEVER EVER claimed this. We share a common ancestry with apes.

Most on here went to liberal schools. They're not going to use reasoning and especially use any commonsense. When ever there's a thread like this the liberal atheists can't wait to pile on, call names, etc. Book smart...derp.

Plain and simple: Creationism is not a science. You can't test God in a lab. Creationists even had to make their own journals, because their "science" wouldn't pass peer-review. So they made their own journals, so they can get "published."

Liberal schools teach science. Religious schools teach religion, which is not science. Those poor religious people will never get it. Always trying to insert their religion into science where it does not belong.

Coach, it's entirely possible to believe in a God/creator... and at the same time believe in some science too.

Carson knows what he's doing - He's saying what the anti-science base of the party wants to believe.

Carson is also a brain surgeon - he could probably lecture for 10 straight hours on the evolution of the brain - he knows full well there were humans on this planet for a million years.

It's kinda like not telling a kid you're taking him for a flu shot until you actually sit down for the shot.  He's immature, he'll kick and cry.  That's the base.  Better to just pat them on the head and nod along with their anti-science idiocy, win the job, and manage them well, as carson is attempting to do.

Coach, it's possible to 1) support Carson 2) understand he's just pandering to get votes.

They all do it.

coach, do you mind sharing your opinion?  Do you believe the earth was created 6000 years ago?  Or do you believe the science books?

Huckabee is a man of the Lord - he says the bible is good for teaching the word of God, but never to be taken literally.  Do you take it literally?  Or are you with huck (and me) who believe strongly in God, work our tails off to do right by him, but also understand the basic things like carbon dating?

Have you considered it's you?  And I mean that in the least disrespectful way possible. Think about it. For all of known history people have worshiped Gods now all of a sudden people like you come along make a decision to not believe in God based on nothing.  The West has went from believers, to non believers and if you ask the non believers for proof, they'll give you the Big Bang THEORY or the THEORY of evolution.  There is not been 1 single shred of evidence ever proving this and there never will be. You've been brain washed and fight to continue to stay brainwashed to satisfy your worldly lusts. It's easier and more fun to not believe in God.  It's also very lazy.  Because I bet there are very, very few of you if any that have legitimately researched yours and other religions.  Why?  Well if you're an American you're fucked from birth with vaccines, GMO baby food, fluoridated water, television, consumerism, violence, sex, drugs, racism, greed, lust, alternative life styles, alternative genders, multiculturalism, political correctness, obesity, paganism, occultism, indoctrination, via trends, fashion, television, media, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, greed, greed, greed, slothfulness, mental laziness, and much more.  You don't even know it's happening because it is this western reality. And were so overworked and have a mentality of chasing the dollar, unless it is a pastime, most won't put any effort into their faith. You just repeat what is popular.  the religion of athiesm is constantly moving.  It's like an amorphous blob of ideas that's constantly shifting and changing to as new evidence comes out.

LOL at ignoring the spiritual, something that's been around since before science.  And science can explain shit all thus, all the theories.  Science has it's place but athiests God is science.  An amorphous Blob of ideas constantly shifting, changing but never proving or disproving the big questions.

I don't think atheists can differ between religion and spirituality. It's all the same.  I wasn't being funny when I said it. Most of you have calcified pineal glands and you have zero connectivity to anything spiritual.  It's shame.

Even MOS will agree that you can't test God in a lab, and you can't test all the faith required to be a theist in a lab.

There is no way to test the existence of God in a lab, that is why it requires faith.

Exactly, an atheist "God" is science. And this is where we drastically differ. You have yet to change my opinion, and I have yet to change yours. You can write "ahaha, lol" and "youre going to hell" all you want. I really don't care. That is not going to change my opinion. And, yet, religion has not answered any of the big questions, they only think they have with their "faith." Well, sorry, that doesn't work for me. Move on Wiggs, you can preach to me all you want.

Science cant explain shit? I guess you forgot Germ Theory, and how science has helped cure many diseases and ailments. I guess you forgot that part.  :-\ :-\ Next time youre sick or in need of surgery to save your life, skip it, and pray instead.

You're right religion hasn't answered any of the big questions but my ancestors book called the Bible did. You're people took that book and created the religions we have today in the west.  Your people being Caucasians.  I'm not trying to convert you.  I know how your type think.  You only want information that agrees with your line of thinking.  Contrasting information is met with stark resistance. Point remains because you can't prove your THEORY of evolution and evolution THEORY you and others have taken these THEORIES and created a lifestyle around them. That's a religion. Your God is these ideas or what you qualify as "science". You've used the extremely faulty carbon dating system to justify your ideas.

As for your "germ theory"  Humans lived long before "germ theory".

I am not even going to debate the top part with you, because we all know where it will lead to.

As for the second part, the fact that humans lived before germ theory has absolutely nothing to do with that fact that everywhere you look is science--your computer, your medicine, your car, your cell phone, medical instruments and devices, etc. To say science cant explain shit is stupid, even coming from you  :D :D  :D :D ;D ;D
