What about when he loses money on investments? Should the pay be altered?
Should he have to liquidate assets to fund the payments? People don't get that someone "worth" X billion is a paper amount normally based on ASSETS (shares (liquid), property (illiquid), artwork etc etc)... not cash in the bank.
It also states in article that she asked for $1m/month, it doesn't say she got it.
