You don't really WANT a cure.
You are comfortable with the "new normal" of a mass shooting per week - something that doesn't happen in countries with strict firearms laws.

Your " cure " is NOT a cure. You just want the tools of violence to change. Americans are violent people there is NO cure for that. So instead of mass shootings every week we would get mass bombings

keep working on your ' cure '

So you're saying mass murder via guns and bombing don't happens  in other countries? Because Paris didn't happen right?
You're a real stupid fuck.
Hell, maybe I'm acting stupid trying to debate with the village idiot.  :-\

I would say any felony (especially for a violent crime) should be a red flag/hurdle. With that being said, should a guy be denied a gun purchase because he assaulted someone 20 years ago?

Almost. Delayed, anyway.

It's not the guns that kill people dude, it's the peoples that kills peoples

If US had same gun control as rest of developed world it would not result in one less wacko nut job random massacre.

Why do you have multiples of the mass shootings and gun violence per capita of any other developed nation? Over 50% of mass shootings in the world are in USA.

Banning guns will likely never happen but at least accept that their prolification contributes to the amount of shootings...

Correlation does not mean causation. 300 million guns in private hands in the USA if it were the case mass shootings would be much , much more prevalent and gun violence is fallen dramatically in the past 20 years http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/05/07/18108298-gun-violence-in-us-has-fallen-dramatically-over-past-20-years-justice-dept-report-finds

Would banning firearms reduce murder & suicide? Harvard study , the answer is NO
