I believe that this is a longer sentence then you will usually see for 2nd degree attempted murder.

That's correct and it should be.  They organized a mob of people to go to an 8 yr old's birthday party and threatened to lynch everyone and threaten to kill an 8yr old child???  That has a hate crime enhancement.  Even then they could have plead guilty and got off relatively light but they took the whole thing to trial.  Really stupid idea.  That judge showed no mercy whatsoever as he felt that they didn't accept responsibility for their actions and made an example out of them


This should serve as a lesson to all.  You do the crime then its better to just plead it out.  Because otherwise you'll get run the fuck over.  Like how both of them were crying like bitches but that's good.  I'm sure that 8 year old was crying too.  They got what they deserved
