I have always hated those "motion" type machines he was using in his first exercise.

Yeah, I don't get what is the purpose of them. What is the purpose of moving up and down on the seat as you do a lat pulldown?

what ever happened to wavelength?

He was ripped to the bone and claimed to practically live on pastries.

Wavelength has not posted in roughly 2 years. A few others are also gone (Truegrit, Raymondo, Devilsmiles).

Beyond boring. How people can do these types of workouts (it’s not training) day in and day out is baffling to me.

The only difference between Heath and tens of thousands in countries near and far is drugs and response to those drugs.

Phil is just boring. In every way.

I used to go to a gym that had those types. I especially hated the seated dip machine that would move. It gives a weird floating feeling.

they make them because if old Soviet studies show movie your body through space builds more muscle but I agree it's a waste of money I don't see how the afford that shit

it makes you "feel" that you are not doing any work. I got more of a pump doing bench dips and a 45 pound plate. The gyms that can afford such equipment tend to be on the higher end.

I haven't did bench dips im yes I like dips though I usually use the parellel bars

The motion of the leg extension is awful.  You are not contracting the muscle against resistance as much as you are allowing the machine to ease your body into a contracted state. 

The Gold's Gym here in Ft Lauderdale changed all their equipment over to this type years ago.  Membership immediately  dropped and Gold's was forced to sell.  It is now Zoo Gym I believe.
