i think glutamine is another supplement where you just dont know if its any good

still, suppose you only use it on training days to help with recovery.. its not that big a deal and its pretty cheap these days

the supplements i avoid are the ones where a bottle only last 2 weeks and to get any result (that is if there's any to be had) is 3-6 months - its just not worth it.

Currently using.

Creatine
Glutamine
Taurine
Vanadyl
Whey protein
DHEA
Udos oil 369 blend

Sarms/osterine is tempting

Without you looking it up tell me about this Udos oil 369 blend in your own words.  How long have you been taking, and what have you noticed while using it?

If you're gonna do sarms, you're done being natty.  You might as well just go through a telemed trt clinic, and do the real deal.  It's likely cheaper, and there's a lot more history showing there are zero to minimal side effects when used moderately and responsibly.

Pretty much agree with you on that as far as bbing goes...

Without gettin into details I have had "stomach issues" for over 2 decades.  Tried many meds, diet strategies, and supps.  It'll never be good, but since learning about glutamine and gut health and then adding that, psyllium (generic metamucil), flax seeds, and the current med I'm settled on... things have gotten a bit better.

I have added those things one at a time to know what's working or not.  I would definitely say that adding 5-10grms of glutamine a day helped with that, and I do think it helps with recovery when taken post workout.  On days that I train back to back, I don't feel as sore from the day before, and I also don't feel as drained as I used to.  Like I said haven't been doing anything for almost 3 years til recently though, so I'm not sure if lifting the kinda weights I'm using right now while playing it safe and re-gaining some confidence in my tendon can be considered a trustworthy gauge when it comes to the recovery aspect. ???

I'll add that Bulk Supplements kicks ass.  I buy anything I can from these guys in the kilo bags.  I have containers and scoopers for everything when I bought other brands off bb.com and I just wash when empty, open the bag from BS, dump in what fits, and then dump the rest into a foodsaver bag and then vacuum seal it.  Everything I've ordered from them has been great, and they send you free 100-500 gram bags of stuff you'd like to try if you do a positive review on Amazon for what you bought (don't know if they still do now that they've been around a couple years)

Check them out. https://www.amazon.com/BulkSupplements-Pure-L-Glutamine-Powder-grams/dp/B00E7TMOOA/ref=sr_1_3?crid=8CNBK4BA9K2B&keywords=bulk+supplements+glutamine+powder&qid=1553475628&s=gateway&sprefix=bulk+supplements+glu%2Caps%2C194&sr=8-3

I stockpile whichever Dymatize or Optimum whey is on sale at Costco. Glutamine is worthless for muscle growth. HTH

I tried Udo's 3-6-9 back in the day when I was around 17. Didn't notice any difference at the time. Found out he was using ALA rather than EPA/DHA and never bought it again. Plus from what I understand we already get more than enough 6's and 9's anyways.

Yes. We get enuff 6’s vs 3’s

I don’t think Udos is bad though, it has its place for people that are allergic to fish

Ala conversion to dha sucks

So it's just a brand of omega's?  Probably overpriced as hell too?

I just buy a bag of ground flax seeds for like $5, put a tablespoon in my shake each day and that lasts over 2 months.  I also take flax seed softgels.  I take 3 of those a day...one with each meal other than my shake.  200 was less than $10 which is just over 2 months worth as well

Not sure what’s happened to this world of bb. Let me just say if your are natural and you’d better be supplementing with protein. That is if you work a lot and can’t eat real protein meals between your real meals. If you are natural and want to build u must always be in a slight calorie excess. Simple as that. And yes your body needs more protein than a non athlete. I’ve seen a million diet fads come and go in over 40 years bb. KISS. Keep it simple stupid. Eat 6-8 meals a day 2 of those most likely protein drinks.

If u are on drugs and I don’t care either way but if you are then eat whatever the f u want and unless u have crap genetics you’ll still grow. If on drugs and U eat 6-8 meals a day u will get swole.
