True - Marunde outperformed him! And was considerably smaller too.

Filiou may be the highest ranking Canadian since 2000. JF Caron placed 4th this year - his best placing yet. Tom Magee may have won...but that would have been around 1983.

Mike Jenkins had similar stats to Filiou. He died in 2013, aged 31 years.

Terry Hollands was also 6'6" and 390-lb. But I think he slimmed down considerably lately.


Well, Glenn Ross (somehow) is still alive.
