If you can just take steroids and turn into Mr Olympia then  fuckig  do it. It really doesn’t work that way

Silly boy.  I may not be a smart man but I am definitely not a stoooopid bodybuilder.  You must be on drugs.  You cannot divert the truth of my words with the bilge that pumps forth from your ego.   Drugs work.   Don't believe me?

Look in a mirror.  Stop taking them and look again in a few weeks. Even something as low as HRT makes a difference.  Quit being such a fetid mule and maybe people will respect your accomplishments for what they are instead of being repulsed by what you display.  All anyone here need do to light your fuse is to bring reality into the conversation.

Like I've said before, we're all willing, wanting and waiting to like you.    I think you don't even like you.

Yes, we are all experts in contest judging when we get 16 inch arms. That much is certain.

We are all come to but pay homage to our emperor and god, Vince Basile.  Hail Geezer!  Hail Geezer!

He was somewhat educated and it could be that I respect that given my lack of education and intelligence but in no way do I think he was ignorant.  Except perhaps for his ego getting in the way of his success, he was no bhanky.

I just think that with the inclusion of amphetamines he destroyed a lot of brain cells and lost his way.  By the time he found a path back it was something of a "Yellow Brick Road".
He definitely thought he had great intellect. The word "science" was thrown around a lot by Mentzer and Jones when describing HIT but there was no science used at all. Jones never ran a proper test to compare his training method to any other. All of his test subjects trained exactly the same.

Thats actually a very good point. There definitely would have been many obstacles in getting some sort of academic rigour involved in trying to confirm their hypothesis. Essentially Mentzer and Jones where both businessman in a way, we can gather this by their output. Not necessarily in pursuit of some sort of scientific truth, or really and truly we would have seen empirical confirmation. One thing that can be said from Mentzer's short life, he really was a major stepping stone in bringing forth the idea of recovery and CNS activation in the face of the traditional extended workout regiments at the time. I think he took this concept too far towards the end of his life with the attacking a bodypart only once every 14 days.
