I think your loyalty is commendable, if misplaced.

Some, if not a great deal, of that stemmed from the fact he apparently inherited a great deal of wealth. Adam thought himself very clever, but he let that influx of money swell his bat-eared noggin to BHankian proportions and, well...as a wise old black man formerly of my employ was fond of saying, "You take a man who think he know everything, and you got a man who don't know a goddamn thing."
Motives aside, it was always hilarious when Adam shifted into pseudo-intellectual mode

I can't speak to what he said about fucking younger girls, but I do recall him yammering about NC's "age of consent" from time to time.

All I can say is, by the time I was a senior as an undergrad, yeah, the freshmen girls were still attractive, but there remained a bit of cognitive dissonance there...they were noticeably younger and something in me felt as if I'd be taking advantage of them.
By contrast, the very idea of porking a hot to trot 16-year-old was almost anathematic. They certainly could have stirred my 20-21 something y.o. loins, but, no matter the legality, my morals would have screamed "no."
