Everyone else is in decline at least twice as hard and won't be in as strong a position as the US  to bounce back from it.

No need to tax your way out of debt when you can inflate your way out.

Agree about inflation and that the rest of the world is worse but money printing  (counterfeiting) is a tacit admission of bankruptcy and moral decline.

So whats your solution, if not taxation?  And i dont think the national deficit has much bearing on anything, it's just a convenient excuse for government austerity measures.

I understand that the hack economists that you subscribe believe deficits don’t matter. They don’t until they do. Why do you think prices of consumer staple have gone up so dramatically this year? The endgame is the currency. It’s always about the currency. You can’t print money forever without repercussions.

China is pretty fucked. It's so fucked right now they've stopped reporting things regarding their economy.

Their housing market was one huge ponzi that's unravelled and screwed them. Add to that manufacturing is leaving and they also face demographic time bomb.

They are also being pushed into war with Taiwan by the US which will further hurt them financially. Call it a final nail in the coffin if it kicks off.

What exactly does China have going for it right now?
