Additional - I just read that in (Northern) Ireland, the Garda are now investigating someone who sprayed 'Irish Lives Matter' on a dumpster as a hate crime! Not vandalism, leading to a slap on the wrists, but something with potentially much worse consequences...(smh)
As far as I know Northern Ireland is still part of the United Kingdom and the remit of the Garda does prevail there
