Anyone?

I think he wants to start off with mens only until it establishes itself.  I am pretty sure he will add the Fitness and Figure once the ball gets rolling.  But to include it right off the bat takes on an even larger concept.

He should stick to the mens bodybuilding only... all the women's divisions are a snore-fest or simply too creepy

I disagree....though when there are a ton of figure competitors it can make a show very long.  Fitness is pretty exciting for most fans.

Rhino, that makes sense.  He can add it later if the BBing does well.  Perfect and build one first then expand.

I think fitness and figure will bring in a lot of competitors and fans.

I appreciate the effort the girls put into it but the fitness and figure puts the fans to sleep every time and makes the shows WAY too long.

The best show I ever went to was the 1998 night of champions and it was pretty much all muscle and over in 2 to 2.5 hours max...

Other than a few haters on GetBig, I don't know anyone who doesn't like fitness.

I think [no offense to the figure girls] that maybe that could be applied to figure, but fitness routines the vast majority of people find entertaining. And yeah, with figure on the amateur levels having so many girls it definitely does make shows drag on.

hahaha, Tre....true!!!

Shit, I wouldn't want to have to do a cardiovascularly strenuous gymnastic/dance routine all depleted.  Hats off to the fitness competitors.  When I'm on stage, I start to get damn tired after a couple minutes of hard posing.

The best figure head judge in the U.S. is Steve Saylor of Washington state.  Every big figure show should bring him in to run the thing...because he doesn't bullshit around like all the rest of them do.

What really will help PDI establish positive criticism and a positive image will be the judging.  The judges Wayne will be using and rotating them will really make the shows fair. IN addition, the judges he is going to have are well known in the industry and former IFBB pros and other experts.  What Wayne wants to do is pack every show.  He wants it loud as hell during every poser.  He wants to bring back what BB used to be.  We've all seen pictures of shows from the early 80's late 70's.  The places are packed with many people who have nothing to do with any of the competitors or even workout.  They just wanted to see some big muscular guys with great bodies.  The places were packed with women drulling all over themselves.  They were loud and abnoxius.  Perfect for a BB show.

The most excting BB show I have ever been too is the military BB show at Pearl Harbor.  The place goes apeshit everytime a BB steps on stage.  It is so loud you can't even hear the music.  The competiton between armed forces is unreal and energetic.  It is the best.  When it was all over everyone stands and claps for minutes.  That is what Wayne is goig for.  Bring back the excitement.  Cause the shows of today are as boring as watching paint dry.
