Apples and Oranges. Arnold trained high rep/sets with moderate weights at a decent pace. Mentzer trained heavy weights, low sets, pre exhaust..... Mike Sapp, former owner of "The Gym" was a training partner of Arnold's during his 1980 comeback. He said Arnold trained medium weight, with little rest between sets, and A LOT OF SETS. Mike also trained with David and Peter Paul, which of course was monster weight with more rest. Both methods have their merits, and both methods have produced great physiques.
